Date: This Sunday, April 21st

Ride Out Time:  10:30 AM PROMPTLY (plan arrival accordingly)

Location:           Patapsco State Park, McKeldin Area

We will be riding to the Woodstock Inn, a favorite watering hole of area riders. It has dedicated hitching posts saying “Horse & Mule Parking Only” in their main parking lot as well as 4 hitching posts in a secluded spot. They will also have motorcycles and cars.  And a freight train line runs alongside the parking lot, but you can eat at outside picnic tables to be with your horse.

The ride will begin at McKeldin Park’s dedicated horse trailer parking (with rest rooms, mounting block and hitching post close by), going along their well-maintained multi-use trails, with beautiful views as you climb in and out of river valleys.

As we go to the restaurant, you may encounter walkers, dogs on leashes and bike riders, and there are two water crossings plus a railroad track crossing. The ride is 1.5 hours one way at a nice, slow walk.

After lunch, a walk-trot group can split off and get back in 30-40 mins. In total, this should be a 4-5 hour day.

As always, this ride is free to TROT members. Non-members are welcome to join for $10.This ride is by RSVP ONLY, as we will only be taking 15 riders MAX. Thank you in advance.

Must RSVP to Carolann Sharpe for exact location and more informatio
