Trail ride on Sunday, 10/22 to Farmacy Brewing (3100 Black Rock Rd, Reisterstown, MD 21136). Ride time will be 11:00 a.m. from Upperco, MD (literally, the adjoining farm – address provided to participants). This ride will be on all private land (with owner’s permissions). It will be approximately a one hour ride to the brewery, we will spend approximately two hours there (bring your ID and credit card), and then approximately a one hour ride back.

Farmacy Brewing is owned by Dr. Michael Harrison (equine vet) and it is important that all horses coming onto his property are UTD on vaccinations and have a negative Coggins.
Brewery has a selection of beer offerings as well as hard seltzer and a couple non-alcoholic options. There is also generally a food truck there – although riders are also welcome to pack a lunch. Sometimes they have musical entertainment as well. There is no “cover charge.” Friends, relatives and non-riders are welcome to meet us over there around noon. There are no hitching posts (yet, I’m working on them) so we can take turns holding onto each other’s horses or tie them to the parking lot fence.
We will be riding through woods, across a quiet road, crossing streams, in corn and hay fields, up and down hills, on a driveway, etc. Barefoot is fine.
I need to limit this ride to four rigs or seven riders (plus me = 8). I would ask that out of respect to the farm owners, that no one arrive prior to 10:00 a.m. We will need to ride as a group there and as a group back. Please pick up your trailer area and don’t leave a mess. There is water available. Please be headed home within an hour of returning from the ride.
Helmets are required.
No animals other than the horse you are riding (read: NO dogs, extra horses, etc).
This will be a slow ride (walk only).
Address and directions will be provided to the participants.
Contact Tammie J. Monaco: 410-472-2526 (landline, no texts). I will share my cell with those participating.
Thanks tons!
