Trail Description: Horseback riding is allowed around the agriculture fields which have views to Breton Bay, the Potomac River and St. Clements Bay. There are no trail maps. There are gated dirt roads which lead to the Breton Bay side of the park suitable for horseback riding. There is a path around the gate for hikers and horses. Trail Description: A 7.5 mile trail circles the lake, allowing the area to be fished from shore or by boat (electric motor only). The trail is regularly used for hiking, biking and horseback riding. The Maryland Park Service does not rent horses, and only provides the trails as a means of recreation. There is waterfowl hunting at designated sites only (accessible by boat).
